David Guarino loves photography. He always has - he always will.

Selecting a career was never an issue for David, it was a simple obvious choice. At the tender age of 16, one of David’s photographs made it to the cover page of the “Queens Tribune” and everything seemed to take off naturally from there.

In 1992, David opened Image Nation which became one of the largest commercial advertising studios on Long Island. Image Nation is delighted to offer the convenience and efficiency of our 2,500 square foot photography studio complete with hair and make-up stations. In addition, our specialized photo team is completely mobile and highly experienced with
on-location photography. 

Over the years, David’s photographs have appeared in numerous magazines including Popular Photography, Elle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Bride’s Magazine and the New York Times. His photographs have been sold in countries as far away as Australia.

David has personally received over 50 coveted BOLI (Best on Long Island) awards presented by the prestigious Long Island Advertising Club. In addition, David served as a professor of advanced photography at Farmingdale State College from 2011 through 2023. In 2018, David received the highest teaching commendation available in the State of New York - the prestigious “Chancellor’s Award” for “Excellence in Teaching” from the State University of New York
in Albany!
